Photo shoot time

Yip it’s that time….

Time to get some of the images building up in my head out and onto film.

The first was a short course/photoshoot work shop in Auckland, through work.

Lots of fun seeing what others do and then putting it into practice.

I had a gorgeous model, see what you think. All my images are unedited, so it’s check out mine.

The second we did last weekend again through work.

I based mine on Schwarzkopf  Essential Looks.

Again these are my phone photos.

Enjoy, Lxx

Emily you gorgeous thing

Emily Contacted me all the way from Burma.

Not the easiest of communications but we got there in the end.

She was getting married in Russell NZ over the summer and I was to do her and her bridesmaids hair. Plus a few others(cutest little flower girls).

These ladies were great fun, Suzy Poole(make up fun) & I had the best day. We were joined later by Jess Burges & second camera Terri Robinson for Exposurenz photography. Love the results, love the day & the gorgeousness.

enjoy, Lxx

Inky’s secret wedding

With a big cyclone hitting us in the Bay of Islands in March, there were secret plans afoot made for Inky’s wedding. She was told to be ready by 2.30pm and nothing else. So with that she organised a dress, make up , hair(me), awesome shoes, flowers and off she went. Shame about the weather, but there’s no organising the weather is there?

I believe I hadn’t seen a more relaxed bride. No worries when you just have to get there 🙂

So here are some of the photos that Jess Burges, www.exposurenz.co.nz managed to capture on the day. Love them. Lxx

Geraldine Dec 21 2013

Part of my quick trip to Altanta USA last year was because I had to come home to a big pre-Christmas work load in the Salon.  But also for a beautiful wedding, with lovely touches of vintage. So off I went out to the little location of Rangitane, on the Kerikeri Inlet.  Suzy Poole joined me doing Make up and Alley Rowe of Alice Photography was there to capture the moments on film. Geraldine was so relaxed as were her lovely bridesmaids. So gorgeous Ladies, loved working with you all. Lxx

Melissa & Simon at Waitangi

This was one of my favourite weddings from last season.

Melissa was just beautiful as you can see from her photos. Again Lynnette Watson was on make up.

This time the very talented Terry Robinson was taking photos. She doesn’t do it as often as she used to but when she does, they’re amazing.

This day had the family all around, which is always great to see.

Time flys, as their 1st anniversary has just been with a little one on the way.
