About Laurel

I thought I’d give you an idea of who it is that you’re inviting to be with you and style your hair for your Wedding in Northland, NZ.

I’m Laurel and I’ve been Hairdressing for ever it seems. Amazingly I still love it. The part I love the most is Hairstyling for Weddings, Photoshoots and every few years organising & styling hair for ‘Battle of the Ballroom’ (a fundraiser for Mid North Hospice).

I’ve been married to Pete for 14yrs and we have a fur baby cat called Blue, who travels with us in our campervan. I also have three grown Sons. Two are married. We are stoked that we have 4 grandkids as well, 3 boys and a girl. It’s so much more fun than being their parents, we just get to enjoy them.

Anyway I love to knit, paddle board, pick up shells off the beach, travel to Perth & Rarotonga & do Roadies in Country. Oh yeah and I’m a Formula 1 fan…Go Oscar!

I really love all things Weddings. Brides, your Bridemaids & even your Mums & Sisters. I like to keep your wedding morning as chilled as possible. I tend to work out who is feeling the pressure and try and keep them relaxed, so you can be as well.

I continue to keep up with the current styles that are trending on the Gram & Pinterest by going to workshops and belonging to an online Bridal Academy from the UK. They are fantastic as they are a season ahead.
