It’s not unusual for me to be working at a wedding on New Year’s Eve.

This one I was especially looking forward to doing, as I knew some of the details involved.

I knew the Bridesmaids were wearing gold sequin gowns made by Sharon Burges. That the Bride was having a Zimmerman gown and that the talented Jess Burges would be capturing their moments.

Also make up artist Samantha Nichols would be there with me to prep this gorgeous bridal party.

It was all so beautiful.

Melaney was a Bridesmaid from a previous wedding a couple of years back.

Friday it was her turn to be the Bride and she was gorgeous.

Along with her wedding party we got her ready in the historic town of Russell in the Bay of Islands, NZ.

Make up for her day was Annalise Bergman.

Flowers were Paradise Florist from Paihia.

Photographer was Rachel Jordan of Two Little Starfish.

Neat Eats were catering & Debra Shand was coordinating for them.

Their wedding location was Omata Estate in Russell.

When I met Amy she was carrying her 8 week old baby in her arms. Not quite what I was expecting but all good by me.

Her little one was amazing, as were her bridesmaids who stepped in for cuddles to keep her settled.

The girls were staying at the fantastic ‘Moon Gate Villa’ in Kerikeri. If you haven’t looked this Villa up you should it’s mind blowing.

MUA Lynnette Watson of Heavenly Faces was doing her magic with the girls faces.

Cherry Blossom created exquisite bouquets and Minette Henekom Design & Photography captured the day.

Jada & Tim came to Russell to get married this year from Australia.

The beautiful location of Russell NZ is known for its history and beautiful beach atmosphere.

Alice Phorography was there to capture their lovely day.

Along with Make Up Artist Samantha Nicholls we prepared Jada and her wedding party at Russell Cottages before they headed to their ceremony and later reception at the Duke of Malhborough.
