Kylie & Bryn presently live in Darwin where they are seriously involved in making a difference in the community.
On New Years Eve it was their time to shine here amongst their friends and families.
Make up artist Samantha Buhl & I headed to Mangonui bright and early to get Kylie’s wedding party ready. With seven to get ready for ‘first look’ photos it was pretty busy.

Emily came all the way from Adelaide to marry her fiancé in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
We got her wedding party ready at ‘The Boathouse’ in Opua. With its great views of the ferry and right up the habour to Pahia.
Make Up Artist Annalise Bergman joined me for their prep.

They were married at Waitangi by Celebrant Ida Birch.

A few life things happened along the way but we got to October 2017 in the end.
Wow, a very memorable day it was & wonderfully emotional as well.
I love this type of wedding. It was particularly well thought out, with lots of references to those who had enabled this couple to come together on this day.
Much loved was shared with everyone involved.
I had nine people to do hair for, Amy our Bride, four Bridesmaids, two Mums, one junior Bridesmaid & two Flower girls. A big day but all flowed well.

The magic of rain…
Hi Lovelies,
I wanted to let you all know that I am now taking bookings for next wedding season.
This is from September 2018 through to April/May 2019.
I also wanted to remind you that the popular months of February & March go the quickest. Once a date is booked & confirmed it is no longer available.
I am fortunate to be living and working in this paradise of the Bay of Islands.
I get enquiries for further up north, down to Whangarei. As well as from Australia, the UK & Canada this year I’ve also been asked about travelling to Auckland and the central north island. Unfortunately I’ve already been booked on the date requested as I’m certainly happy to travel.

The gorgeous Francesca.
I had touched base with Photographer Tracey Stevens, who I met through mutual friends. She had been photographing Francesca for a number of years and this was the first time she asked if she wanted hair and make up done. Yes please was the answer.
So Mua Samantha Bulh and I kept it soft and simple. Francesca was very happy.
